Description
A low wall of Portland Stone in the shape of an open circle with paved inner surface and returns at each end. Each return bears a circular panel with past and present badges of the corps in relief. The inner surface of the wall bears the dedication in incised upright capital roman lettering; the outer back of the wall has the name of the regiment similarly incised. The centre of the paving contains a grey circular tablet with the motto incised in decorative lower case lettering. The wall is set on a base of the same stone within a circular gravel and lawned enclosure and approached by a short gravel path edged with a Portland Stone border. There are two tapering stone plinths with black granite tablets, incised with regimental insignia and commemorations, flanking the path. A further memorial, comprising a black granite tablet and plinth, dedicated to a single REME member, is placed at the base of a tree.
