- Description
- A framed and glazed roll of honour on paper. The central panel has a wreath and titles at the head and the main inscription in upright capital roman lettering. The four side panels contain the names in lower case black calligraphy with each new initial rubricated. The foot of the last column bears a calligrapher's mark comprising crossed quills and the text SAML CLEGG SCR. The wooden frame has a stepped top, main pieces carved with a repeating leaf design resembling overlapping laurel leaves, and narrow moulded glazing bars. The lower edge has a moulded cornice and four brackets.
