A nowy headed grey stone headstone on a family grave; decorative scroll at the head; foliated panels at both sides; inscription in upright capital Roman lettering, coloured white.

PEACE/ IN/ LOVING MEMORY OF/ MY DEAR HUSBAND/ ARTHUR CLAY,/ WHO ENTERED INTO REST/ NOV.12TH. 1931,/ AGED 74 YEARS./ "REST AFTER WEARINESS, PEACE AFTER PAIN."/ AND OF MARY,/ HIS BELOVED WIFE/ WHO FELL ASLEEP MARCH 4TH. 1942,/ IN HER 81ST. YEAR./ "IN HEAVENLY LOVE ABIDING."/ ALSO OF OUR DEAR SON/ EUSTACE ARTHUR CLAY,/ WHO DIED IN PALESTINE OCT. 12TH. 1918,/ AGED 32 YEARS./ (INTERRED ON MOUNT OF OLIVES)/ HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR HIS COUNTRY.
