Description
Wooden crucifix with bronze figure under a gable with inscribed bargeboards and slate roof. Square ashlar pedestal with recessed panels. Cruciform ashlar base, 2 steps, with moulded edges. Inscribed bronze plaques.

Gable: BY THY CROSS AND PASSION Plaque on 6 o'clock face: In grateful memoryof the men of Sneinton who fell in the Great War 1814-1918. Plaque on side face: To the Honour and Glory of the Ever Blessed Trinity/ All ye who pass by of your charity pray for the souls of the Sneinton men who fell in the Great War of 1914-1918 laid down their lives for justice and freedom to whose memory this calvary is erected./ Grant to them O Lord, eternal rest and may light perpetual shine upon them. 1920.
