APRIL 1917 OF WOUNDS/ RECIEVED THE SAME DAY IN ACTION AT ROEUX./ HIS BODY LIES BURIED AT AGNEZ-LES-DUISANS NEAR ARRAS IN FRANCE; HIS SPIRIT HAS RETURNED UNTO GOD WHO GAVE IT; AND HIS MEMORY LIES ENSHRINED IN THE HEARTS OF ALL WHO KNEW HIM./ "TOOK HIS FILL OF MUSIC, JOY OF THOUGHT AND SEEING/ CAME, AND STAYED, AND WENT, NOR EVER CEASED TO SMILE"/ THIS TABLET WAS PLACED HERE BY HIS MOTHER & FENELLA HIS ONLY SISTER
