Description
The first Roll of Honour is a rectangular wood framed, paper Roll of Honour. With the inscription at the top, then the names hand-written below in two columns with a line dividing them. Names of the dead are marked by a cross. Other letters placed by some names, namely W. (?wounded); M. (?Missing) and P (? prisoner). Deo Gratias at the bottom. The second roll is also a rectangular wooden-framed Roll of Honour. At the top this has a drawing of a crucifix with a graveyard below, and the inscription either side. The names are below this with the exhortation at the bottom.

History
The original was paper, part printed with the names written by hand. Because of its fragility it has been deposited on indefinite loan with the West Sussex Record Office after conservation. The item displayed in the church is a high quality reproduction on paper. The original hung there during WW1 but the date of removal is unknown. It had been in the vestry.
