- Freestanding rectangular stone alcove containing drinking fountain and inscription tablet. Flower carved in stone at top. JAMES MESTON REID OF WOODBANK PITFODELS (DIED 6 NOVEMBER 1918 AGED 27) CAUGHTT MALARIA IN SALONIKA AND WAS INVALIDED HOME. HE VOLUNTEERED FOR ARCHANGEL ON THE RUSSIAN FRONT AND DIED OF PNEUMONIA.
