Comments: On 29 June 1919 it was agreed to appoint a committee to consider the erection of a memorial to those connected with the Church who had fallen in the War. On 11 December 1921 the Moderator called a meeting to obtain authority for a special collection to make up the difference between the cost of the Memorial plus expenses of £110/5/8d and the amount already subscribed of £94. By April 1922 the Memorial fund was in surplus by £13/6/4d . (See references)
