- Rectangular white marble tablet with pediment above and projecting decorative base ridge below. Two angels stand each side of the dedication, which is written in black lettering.

- The MONTROSE STANDARD for Friday 18th February 1921 recorded the dedication service was held in the Parish Church on Sunday when a memorial tablet in Memory of those who fell during the war was unveiled . The Rev John Boyle officiated at the ceremony
