Celtic cross with decoration on arms and shaft. Inscription on shaft in black lettering. Set on a six-sided plinth and rough hewn base. WW1 names incised on front two faces of plinth in black lettering. Small angled faced tablet at foot of plinth with WW2 names.

It is the War Memorial for the First World War and was the first to be erected in Scotland for those who fell in that War.
