Description
Bronze wall tablet with a cable border interrupted in each corner by a square sunk panel containing an anchor. Above the inscription, applied at the centre onto the border, is the large brass badge of The Incorporated Thames Nautical Training College. The inscription is in raised roman caps with the names arranged in five columns separated by four fleur-de-lys headed fillets. The final line of the inscription is in sloped caps and l/c with a patée cross after the word “trod”. The flag of HMS Worcester is mounted alongside the plaque.
