Condition
History
2008: The growth of vegetation has obscured the intended view from the memorial up the river valley; In March 2004 War Memorials Trust gave £250 to improve the look of the area around the memorial by hard and soft landscaping; an overgrown cypress hedge behind the memorial was replaced and a dilapidated post and wire fence on three sides of the memorial was replaced with wrought iron fencing to match the rail across the front of the memorial.
