Description
A rectangular brass plaque with raised lettering on a black background commemorating Michael Stanley Brewster, more generally known as Stan, who lost his life in the 7th July 2005 London bombings on his way to attend an engineering conference. The plaque is positioned next to a pre-existing plaque which commemorates the official opening of the A6 London Road Diversion Station Approach and Viaduct (the Pride Parkway Viaduct) on 9th January 1997.

STAN BREWSTER/ 1953-2005/ Stan Brewster, Chartered Civil Engineer of/ Derbyshire County Council, who was the/ Resident Engineer on this project, tragically/ lost his life in the London Bombings/ on the 7th July 2005./ Stan was proud of his involvement with this/ project and it now stands as a permanent/ reminder of his professional life and work.
