SQUARE BASE SURMOUNTED BY TAPERED PLINTH, COLUMN AND FIGURE OF A BARE HEADED SOLDIER STANDING IN MOURNING POSE. INSCRIPTION ON THE SIDES OF THE COLUMN. ADDITIONAL STONE CARVED IN THE SHAPE OF AN OPEN BOOK WITH THE WW2 NAMES INSCRIBED ON IT HAS BE SET INTO THE GRASS AT THE FRONT AND LEFT AND RIGHT HAND SIDES OF THE MEMORIAL. WW2 NAMES ON 3 BOOK-SHAPED HORIZONTAL STONES
