- Description
- Chancel rood screen and dedicatory plaque with inscription in relief. The Screen is of wrought iron with gilded rood and shields bearing emblems of the Passion, sacred monogram and agnus dei. The Plaque is in brass with enamelled section in the top left hand corner. The section represents an angel taking a wounded soldier by the hand and pointing to the City of Light which is discernible in the distance. Grape vine is depicted in the lower half of the plaque, three crowns are depicted at the top and floral bosses are on the bottom and right hand sides. It is on a granite pattress.
