- Staff Sergeant James ("Jim") Prescott CGM died on 23rd May 1982, and Corporal Barney Dylan Warburton on 19th March 1994, while attempting to neutralise bombs. Both were members of 33 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal).
