- Description
- A nowy-headed rectangular oak board. At top is a pediment with the school badge, the arms of the Gerard family, above a carved scroll. The left-hand section of the scroll bears the words "WORLD WAR", the central section the name of the school, and the right-hand section "1939 - 1945". The pediment is supported by half-relief columns with a rope-twist design at their base, which extends across the bottom of the plaque. The upper half of the central section of the main body of the board sets out the names of the fallen. The rest of the main body sets out the names of those who served and returned, in gold lettering on black backgrounds.
