- A rectangular wall mounted marble tablet set within an ornate frame, probably alabaster. At the top is a low relief figure of St George slaying the dragon. The dedication and names are incised and coloured black

- THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS / OF WEST ALVINGTON IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF / THE FOLLOWING WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN DEFENCE OF / THEIR KING AND COUNTRY DURING THE GREAT WORLD WAR / AUGUST 1914 TO NOVEMBER 1918. / (18 NAMES) / " THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE."
