Description
A plain wooden battlefield cross , the ends of the cross member and top of the upright cut to a point ,The dedication extends over the upright and crossmember . There are geometric flourishes at each end of the cross member and the top of the upright .and an outline of a cross and leaf on the lower part of the upright . The dedication is clear to see on a monochrome image of the cross in place over Capt Ball's grave but appears to have faded in places as seen in a contemporary image of the cross in it's current location - Trent College Chapel
