- Description
- An area of grazing moorland on a prominent peak near the boundary between Derbyshire and Staffordshire. At the peak is a pre-existing cemented rubble Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar with tribrach plate on the top and benchmark plate on the East face. Above the benchmark a trapezoidal bronze plaque has been added with the incised inscription in upright capital Roman lettering. An impression on the West face suggests that another plaque has previously been attached there but is now missing.
