Glazed and framed roll of honour, handwritten on a Mowbrays 579 printed paper form with crown, latin cross and palm fronds at the head.

ROLL OF HONOUR/ 1939 1945/ IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO WERE KILLED IN ACTION OR DIED ON ACTIVE / WHILST SERVING / WE RENDER THANKS TO ALMIGHTY GOD THAT NO PARISHIONERS/ OF OUR PARISH OF THORPE WERE CALLED TO LAY DON THEIR / LIVES FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THIS WAR, DEO GRATIAS / THE FOLLOWING SERVED IN HIS MAJESTY'S FORCES :/ (Names)/ "GREATER LVOE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS, THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS"
