- Description
- Cenotaph with two carved and painted flags on the east and west faces. These are the regimental and King's Colours for the regiment. A sealed niche on the north side of the Cenotaph holds a Roll of Honour and a Regimental Casket. The memorial closely follows the National Cenotaph located in Whitehall albeit to smaller proportions but with two notable exceptions: it is surmounted by an urn and the Kings and Regimental Colours, each hung with a gold laurel wreath.
