- Metal plaque attached to a brick-built parapet wall pillar of road bridge spanning Thurnby brook. Engraved inscription lettering infilled in black.

- October 2005: The plaque was taken from the wall by vandals. The plaque was subsequently found in the brook crossed by the bridge a few weeks later. The finder cleaned it and handed it to the city council. The council plan to reinstall the plaque after other work has been done nearby.
