TO THE MEMORY OF/ LIEUTENANT-COLONEL HENRY CRAWFURD,/ OF HIS MAJESTY'S XLV REGIMENT OF FOOT, A NATIVE OF GREENOCK, WHO FELL GLORIOUSLY AUGt 31st 1813/ IN THE BREACH, AT THE STORMING OF ST SEBASTAINS,/ WHILE LEADING ON A DIVISION OF HIS MAJESTY'S IX REGt OF FOOT/ THIS MONUMENT IS ERECTED/ BY HIS SCHOOL-FELLOWS, AND EARLY FRIENDS.
