Nowy headed brass plaque with green onyx surround, inlaid into the church wall. There is an engraved border of oak leaves and acorns.

MAY 9TH 1915. THE EVE/ OF HIS 49TH BIRTHDAY/ S. AFRICAN WAR 1899-1902/ RECEIVED BREVET MAJORITY/ QUEEN'S MEDAL 3 CLASPS - KING'S MEDAL 2 CLASPS/ MENTIONED IN DESPATCHES NOV 1900/ AND ON FEB. 18TH 1915 HE WAS AWARDED/ THE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE ORDER.
