- Description
- Wall mounted rectangular, landscape orientated, engraved brass plaque, commemorating a fallen Second Boer War soldier. A foliate and floriate border band design encloses the inscription and a cross at top centre. Border, cross and inscription infilled with black paint.

- †/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND IN PIOUS MEMORY OF/ FREDERICK CECIL LOGAN / WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT/ VLAKFONTEIN, SOUTH AFRICA, ON MAY 29 1901/ AGED 20 YEARS./ THIS BRASS IS PLACED HERE IN THE CHURCH/ IN WHICH HE WAS BAPTISED, CONFIRMED/ AND RECEIVED HIS FIRST COMMUNION/ BY HIS PARENTS/ FREDERIC THOMAS BISHOP and ANNIE ELIZABETH LOGAN/ Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life.
