Description
Tapering cairn of large blocks standing on a rubble plinth. Names inscribed in gold painted lettering on a black marble tablet placed at the base of the front face of the memorial. The memorial originally had a granite name tablet but this was replaced by the current one due to erosion of the names.

2007: New name tablet added to replace original; 2006: Inscription and names are indecipherable.; 2016-War Memorials Trust grant of £3,660-low pressure steam cleaned to remove dirt and biological growth build-up, extensive failed mortar raked out and replaced with a lim mortar, also repairs to the base. Outwith the grant aided works a simple wreath holder and access path were provided.
