Description
A cenotaph mounted onto a tall column. At the base of the column is a carved depiction of 'victory', with arms raised and holding laurel wreaths. There are small figures at the base representing those who died pleading for acceptance of their sacrifice. Surmounted by pediment which is supported by columns. There are also flag poles either side of the monument. Cherubs and swags of foliage at the top of the pillar.
