- Wall mounted tablet with moulded upper and lower edges. Lettering is a mixture of upper and lower case.

- SACRED/ To the Memory of/ CHARLES NICHOLAS VEVERS, LIEUTENANT/ in the Second Battn. of his MAJESTY'S/ fifty Ninth Regt. of Foot, and/ SON of the Revd. RICHARD VEVERS, and/ THEODOSIA DOROTHY his Wife, Daughter/ of the late Revd. SIR WILLIAM ANDERSON, BARONET./ In storming the Breach at the/ memorable Siege of St. SEBASTIAN,/ on the thirtieth of August 1813,/ Amid numbers of his brave and/ heroic Comrades, He fell gloriously/ but deeply lamented by All who/ knew him, at the early Age of/ twenty two Years./ As a Tribute of Affection towards this/ amiable and promising Youth, and to/ perpetuate a remembrance of the Grief/ experienced by his afflicted Parents, and/ other numerous relatives, upon the Loss/ they Sustained. This TABLET is erected/ by his only surviving Uncle/ The Revd. SIR CHARLES ANDERSON, BARONET,/ Rector of this Parish.
