Description
Rectangular wall mounted brass plaque with an engraved border. The left and right edges of the border are styled as columns. In each corner is a quatrefoil and the quotation is in the border along the bottom edge. Before the dedication is an engraved Latin cross.

History
Faculty Book 13, page 589, dated 23rd June 1920. "To provide and place a memorial tablet on the North wall of the Nave of the Parish Church of Honington. That the said tablet to be of Brass and about three feet by about two feet and is to bear the following inscription namely: "To the Glory of God and in sacred memory of (here follows seven names) of this parish who gave their lives for their Country in the Great War 1914-1918. Their Glory shall not be blotted out and their names liveth to all generations". Ecclus 44. 13-14.
