- Description
- Column on square two-stepped base and block, with sculpture of fire in an urn at top, and below it, near the top on the West side, a sculptural relief of a wreath with crossed sword and rifle. It is surrounded by a small paved area with low stone wall. It commemorates fallen WW1 & WW2 soldiers from this village. The memorial was originally near Fort George railway station.
