- In ever loving memory of Desmond Pinkivel Minchin LIEUT. K.O.S.B./ youngest son of Alyson and Kathleen Minchin and grandson/of Colonel William Molesworth CIE CBE of Cruicksfield/ killed in action Haut de Bosq Normandy 1ST July 1944/ aged 21 years./He gave his life with gallantry and devotion to duty to save his platoon./And to Private Delaney and 15 NCOs and men of his platoon/who gave their lives.
