Description
Brass plaque on wooden backboard. The upper plaque commemorates the First World War and has the post office cypher in the upper right hand corner and in the bottom left the shield of Lincoln. The main dedictation and names take up the right two thirds of the plaque and in the left third there is an engraved sword wrapped in laurel wreaths with the Latin inscriptions. The quotation is in a box below the sword. All the text is contained within a double border. Names are in two columns The lower plaque commemorates the Second World War. Names are in two columns. Single line border.
