VINCENT 16TH LANCERS/ HE SERVED IN THE ZULU WAR 1879, WAS IN THE/ AFGHAN EXPEDITION OF 1880, IN THE BOER/ REBELLION 1881, IN THE EGYPTIAN WAR 1882,/ & WAS KILLED AT THE BATTLE OF ABU KLEA/ WHEN MARCHING TO THE RELIEF OF GENERAL/ GORDON IN 1885, AGED 35./ BELOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM/ "I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED/ MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH:/ HENCEFORTH THERE IS LAID UP FOR ME A CROWN/ OF RIGHTEOUSNESS"/ ALSO/ THE HONBLE.
