History
On 24/9/1985 a memorial to commemorate the three Metropolitan Police casualties who died in the Harrods bombing was unveiled. (That memorial was commissioned by The Police Memorial Trust - see our reference 94235). The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea later commissioned this tablet to commemorate the three civilians who died in the same incident (Philip Geddes, Kenneth Gerald Salvesen and Jasmine Cochran-Patrick), which was installed immediately above the memorial to the Police Officers.
