- IN 2001 THE MEMORIAL WAS BOUGHT FROM A JUNKYARD IN WETHERBY BY A LOCAL SCHOOL TEACHER WHO ESTABLISHED ITS ORIGIN AND ARRANGED FOR IT TO BE DISPLAYED IN THE RAWMARSH LIBRARY.
