- Illuminated Roll of Honour that has the Dewsbury Corporation Arms and Tudor roses across the top, and a photograph at each corner of the four men who died. Within the floral border (that includes the national symbols of the rose, thistle, shamrock and leek) are the names of those who served and survived.

- Leeds Mercury 19/12/1922 (page 6) reported that the Roll of Honour had been unveiled in the Police and Firemen's Recreation Room adjoining the Fire Station, commenting that 36 of the 61 Police and Fire Officers had done active service in the War; "four were killed, and another lost his left arm".
