- Square concrete foundation platform supporting a three-stepped octagonal base followed by a rectangular sectioned tapering shaft and integral wheel cross. Pinned-lead lettering forms the inscription verses and names on three smoothened frontal side faces of each base step. (9 faces in total). Celtic styled knotwork design on front face of cross. The whole memorial is sited on a strengthened natural earthen roadside bank at the side of a T-junction located between East and West Worlington.

- History
- 2009 : Renovation work has been carried out including: supporting and refacing the plinth with a dry stone wall; building up the earth banks beside the memorial. This work was funded by local subscription and by a grant from the War Memorials Trust. Plans are in development to plant flowers around the memorial and repaint the names commemorated. 2008 : Wall in front of the memorial is to be tidied up and base of the memorial is to be cleaned in time for Remembrance Sunday.
