- Condition
- History
- Mid 1999 : Renovation of the memorial was required due to the incised dedication tablets becoming illegible as a result of atmospheric erosion. A committee was formed comprising Lt. Col. Hugh McCormack, Col. Mike Wilcox & conductor Keith France. Funds were raised through local contractors. The memorial & its surrounds were refurbished. The tablet inscriptions were re-incised & the lettering inlaid with gilt. Tablets re-attached to the wall.
