- Description
- Three stepped base surmounted by column, cornice and small Latin cross. Carved black inscription on two sides of the column and on a vase placed at the foot of the 3 o’clock face. Wreath with crossed rifles placed through it carved in relief at the foot of the front of the memorial. Crown carved in relief on the front face of the cross. Pattern comprising a fouled anchor within a wreath and flanked by laurel leaves and berries on one side and oak leaves on the other is depicted on three sides of the cornice. The whole is enclosed by wrought iron railings with gated entrance.
