- Description
- Two brass plaques of similar style. Plaques feature decorative etched border with leaf design. Border has corner square pieces with continuation of design. Lettering is incised, with those who returned being painted black, and those who died being rubricated and marked with a small Latin cross before each name - this is indicated at the bottom of the left-hand plaque. The donor of the plaques is acknowledged in small print at the bottom of each plaque.

- Main inscription duplicated on both plaques: In honoured memory of those/ connected with this/ Church and Sunday School/ who served in the/ Great War 1914-1919/ (Names) On lefthand plaque only: (Cross) Died on active service Subsidiary inscription at the bottom of each plaque: This tablet was provided from a legacy left for the purpose by Mr Thomas Henry Barnes, a respected Deacon of/ this Church for many years. He died August 25th 1917.
