KINGS OWN LANCASTER REGIMENT/ WHO DIED OF WOUNDS RECEIVED AT GALLIPOLI/ OCT 7TH 1915 AND WAS INTERRED IN MILITARY CEMETERY/ CHATBI, NEAR ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT./ AGED 23 YEARS./ ALSO OF HIS BROTHER/ WILL BARNES, 2ND LIEUT./ ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY, T.F./ WHO WAS KILLED IN BATTLE, NEAR MONS, NOV 2ND 1918,/ AND WAS INTERRED IN/ THE COMMUNAL CEMETERY QUERENAING, FRANCE,/ AGED 24 YEARS./ ONLY SONS OF SAMUEL AND MARTHA BARNES/ THE ROYD BISPHAM./ "FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH."
