Description
Five stepped base surmounted by a three tiered plinth, tapering shaft and small decorative cross. Dedicatory inscription carved on the front face of the shaft and the names are carved into the sides of the plinth. A dedicatory metal plaque contains the WW2 inscription. Items representing the war are carve in relief on the plinth On side one is a wreath encircling an ambulance; on side two is a field gun; on side three is a wreath encircling an anchor; and on side four is a spitfire. A crossed rifle and sword is depicted below the dedicatory inscription. Metal railings have been placed around the memorial area.
