An obelisk of Red Hollington (Staffordshire) stone on a three-stepped stone base in the centre of a stone square. The obelisk is made of two main sections: the bottom section is square-shaped; the top section tapers to a pyramid-shaped top. on the front face of the obelisk is a metal-cast depiction of the regiment's insignia, being the Prince of Wales' feathers within a knotted rope below a crown; on the side faces are two further insignia representing the North and South Staffordshire regiments. There is a stone bench with the emblem of the "Staffordshire Wives" engraved in the centre of the backrest of the bench and with four knotted rope emblems in each corner.
