- Description
- A square white stone structure, with a curved top on a stone base of the same material, resembling a sarcophagus. On top of the stone is a stone laurel wreath. A black stone tablet is inset into the front face of the sarcophagus with a commemorative inscription in gold lettering decorated with the regimental crest of the Prince of Wales's feathers. The memorial is placed on a two-stepped base of flagstones and a flag mast is placed behind it. The memorial is situated close to the twin memorial to the 11th Royal Hussars, the regiment with which it amalgamated in 1969, and close to the 2015-dedicated memorial to the King's Royal Hussars.
