- History
- In 2012, a War Memorials Trust grant of £1378.00 was offered for the repair of the lychgate which included removal of decaying sections of timber by splicing down to sound wood and inserting new sections of seasoned oak to match the existing structure. All moss and vegetation was then removed from the timber and the roof tiles and the wood was treated with a stain as per the original design.
