Description
WW1, engraved brass plaque attached to a wooden backboard. A decorative leaf-like border band design, interrupted by a crown at the centre of top border, encloses the inscription verses and names. Additional engraved linear plaque for WW2 names mounted below WW1 plaque on existing backboard.

History
1) August 2017 - Dis-used Methodist Church purchased by Ashburton Arts who refurbished and renamed building as Ashburton Arts Centre. 2) Memorial plaques transferred to Ashburton Town Hall, awaiting decision on a more permanent location possibly within the building itself.
