- Description
- Roadside shrine with brick walls supporting a pitched, tiled roof and a painted picket fence at the front. The shrine encloses a black painted wooden triptych with a triangular head. The central panel is decorated with a large, gold-painted cross. Names of the war dead (WW1, WW2, Korea, Irish Terrorism) are incised in gold lettering on the middle panel; a Roll of Honour of WW1 serving men is incised in gold lettering on the side panels and a further panel below. A small framed notice is attached to the shrine, above the triptych, with information on the sponsor and date of origin.
