- Description
- Marble tablet with inscription flanked by two columns with figures on them. Whole is surmounted by a cornice with lancet shaped central section and triangular shaped end pieces. Inscription in red and black lettering. Figure depicting peace is carved to the left of the names and figure depicting memories is carved to the right of the names. Two shields depicted on the triangular sections at the top of the tablet. Shield on the left has crossed rifles and shield on the right has crossed swords within it. Lancet headed centre section has a fouled anchor carved in low relief.
