- Description
- Wall mounted grey marble backboard with triangular-headed pediment, surmounted by a white marble tablet also with triangular-headed pediment. Tablet is further supported at its base by two corbels. Cross at apex of tablet, beneath which, is a decorated marble block surmounted by a projected carving of the head & face of Jesus. At each of the top corners is a square marble boss with a flower head in relief. Horizontal brown marble dado rail wraps around tablet beneath pediment & below this, is the incised inscription area, lettering infilled in black and all enclosed by a moulded brown marble border. Shelf below inscription border with a freestanding vase at each end.
